As a lifelong student of history, rewriting and erasing is visceral.
Large smear campaigns are bad enough but the time to really worry are when names and bodies of work begin to disappear (has anyone tried to research Gilbert Ling a second time lately, without resorting to books?). I can name and discuss estoric historical examples all day long.
The web and digital are both great and terrible places to store information btw.

I had only doublechecked a valuable page or two that i knew had been archived, the pages were there. I then commented here about archiving in general, then a day or so later my saved archive links came up empty. This is using the waybackmachine of course, i can't speak for other archive methods.

Not a user here, but wanted to soon start a nicotinic acid protocol, one bottle's worth. After reading some of @Amazoniac's previous research i think i'll begin with 50mg once a day. I'll then move it up to twice a day. Afterward it'll be 100mg in one dose, and later try 100mg twice a day.
Am looking to keep any flush reactions to a minimum, gauge how i feel after 6-8 weeks, then likely swap back to nicotinamide (niacinamide) afterward.
Just off the top of my head, copper and Quali-C. If you don't have quick access to Quali-C then make it a fruit based vitamin C.
I won't, nor the veterans here, recommend regular Vitamin C because all of it is manufactured in China. Much of it is contaminated and all of it allergenic by nature of it's manufacturing process.
Careful with the copper dose, in case you don't have experience with it, it's easy to overdo. Do not take it together with Zinc or Vitamin C, space them at least a couple or more hours.
Magnesium is needed for practically everything, are you getting enough?

With Bioenergetics we are also concerned with what sort of protein and fiber, and a few other things.
Off the top of my head i'm personally curious about the following: what it's amino acid ratio consists of, what sort of fiber, are there fats and also what type and are they oxidized, chitin? processing concerns and more.
Not sure if this has been discussed in the other forum but will check eventually.

Not exactly, i still have my starter but the last recipe i tried did not come out right. Even the second attempt came out the same way, maybe its the breadmachine vs oven variable. Am still wondering how to proceed on it...

i have a bread machine and would really like to try that. I even see the good old baking soda to alkalinize the starch.
Have been meaning to mix these two new organic flours i purchased to switchup my sourdough recipe. Maybe i'll try this recipe instead, or soon, thx for posting it.
To stay on topic, yes i eat bread on occasion though only certain types since discovering bioenergetics. And yes i feel good on it, especially with a little fat of some type, but i try to keep the protein low unless i'm eating it with a gelatinous broth etc etc.
I'll eat white rice and properly prepared potatoes, edit and nixtamalized corn, more often than bread though.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here but how about that one poor forum member who took the niacin recommendation, then had to check himself into the hospital that day or next? That incident was brushed off like a speck on the sleeve, no words of concern or inner reflection demonstrated.

Using a gallon jug it's baking soda to taste. I don't measure it perfectly but a 1/3 to 1/2 somewhat level tsp. I have messed up by putting too much, it makes the punch mix a little dull tasting.
A strong 8 or 10oz coffee gets approx 1/8 tsp, maybe less.
All in all i average between 5 to 8 drinks a day that contain it. I'll switch my routine when i do sodium acetate protocols however.

Yes, Gericare. Note it must be the 1000ct bottle if you want corn starch only. The other sizes contain additional excipients.
For myself on the other hand i have local sources for the Health A2Z brand. Corn starch only for all 325mg bottle sizes.

As for heavy metals testing, i haven't heard of any outright contamination but who knows. Maybe there would be better luck with powders, less processing for them perhaps?

Agreed.
The topic also builds upon the "it turns out that butter is good for you" narrative from a decade or two ago. Many folks have become aware of it, the seed oil and PUFA topic fits right into the same conversation.
What you can say, and how much you can say, will obviously depend on your audience.

I'll agree with not giving too much detail, however if they have already engaged by saying "olive oil is good too", then i'll inform them that we live in an area where much of it is counterfeit, that the genuine product still has 10% PUFA. With moderation it's good etc. That's as far as i'll go unless they keep engaging.
Otherwise i'll leave out other unnecessary info like Greek and North African olive oil seems to be fine, don't overheat it etc, it is too much info for most.

Ray was reasonably unhealthy in his younger years, somewhat restored it slowly, then later experimented a bit too much on himself. Yet he was still able to live to a ripe old age of 86 with full mental faculties to the end, despite it all
The man was never 100%, in certain ways yes he had regenerated, in others he was simply keeping himself patched up. He learned the hard way, which actually sounds familiar.
With our current environment the rest of us will be very very lucky to live to his age along with having our mental faculties intact and a modicum of physical health.

Am personally a believer that sometimes there is a proper time and place for different forms of the same vitamin e.g. Niacin vs Niacinamide, standard B1 vs Allithiamine, the different Magnesiums etc etc.
As for Niacin flush, i have read product comments from folks who have been pretty traumatized. It sounds like it can be very stressful. Low and slow seems to be the right way to start, then work your way up. Or depending on what your health goal is then maybe Niacinamide would be the easier or more proper alternate.
My curiosity has been piqued though, my next bottle may be standard flush Niacin. Going forward i'll possibly even alternate purchases of both forms.
