@wtpyrucet The raw carrot salad is about the microbial cleansing only, you are not meant to derive nutrition from it. Spinach does not grow underground and thus also doesn't have any antifungal or antibacterial properties.

RE: Bodybuilders looking old
I don't think it's a fitness thing, just a steroid thing. Muscles built through steroid use have a certain very obvious unnatural look to them that does look like they are aged.

RE: How do you make eggs taste good?
@Lovesickhs18 Honestly just throw the egg whites into the drain. Egg yolks are very tasty. Egg whites is what makes the eggs bland and tasteless. For protein drink milk instead.

RE: What helps improve executive function?
@LucH I've known about the effects of Serotonin in regards to depression, but low executive function is different because it generally doesn't mean you are low energy, it just means that you allocate all that energy towards tasks that do not really help with your current situation. Do you think there is a connection? I've generally been fine in regards to energy since supplementing B vitamins, but the low executive function remains.

What helps improve executive function?
Hello again,
I would define executive function as this: The ability to work on a task that's not very interesting but still needs to be done.
Some people have higher executive function then and others have lower. The ADHD diagnosis then is not really about a real medical condition but more about controlling the access to amphetamines and other potentially abusable ADHD medication. ADHD diagnosis naturally increases as the need for high executive function within society also increases.
So what I am wondering now, is there an non-prescription alternative to medication? Has anybody tried increasing executive function through nutrition or supplementation? I thought if anybody has a clue about this it would be here.

What Vitamin B cofactors should I supplement?
Taking a Swanson Balance B-50 supplement, 1x every second day, +250mg Thiamin HCL:
300mg of Thiamin HCL
50mg of Riboflavin, Niacinamide, Pyridoxine HCl, Cholin, Inositol and PABA.
50mcg of Cyanocobalamin and Biotin.
400mcg folic acid.Is there anything I should add? I heard supplementing Thiamin causes Magnesium depletion, is there any other cofactors I should be aware of?
Diet is Oranges, Potatoes, Pasta, Pastries, Milk and Coffee.

RE: Peaty Looksmaxxing?
@hypercashoidism
low fat, high carb (preferably from sugars, not starches) = high metabolism = weight lossI think it is a bit contextual, if you are already overweight then you absolutely need a high carb diet to offset the large amounts of free fatty acids in your blood. If you are already lean then moderate fat might be beneficial.

RE: why fat ppl often have beards?
If you are fat you probably think that there is no point in grooming yourself because you are going to be unattractive either way.

RE: Is there a way to change my curly hair into straight
not really, hair is just genetic, you should simply find a straight hairstyle that fits you well

Where do people get their Vitamin B1 from without supplement?
Salmon and Pork seem to be the only really mainstream foods that contain enough Vitamin B1 to really fulfill the daily recommended amount. But most people don't eat 200g of pork chops every day. How come they don't all end up deficient? Are there other major sources I am missing? This puzzles me.

RE: 4chan on Peat
@beastliboi Fasting extends life by not being alive.
If you don't use your body, sure it is going to deteriorate more slowly but you don't really do more living.

RE: DEPRESSION
@basebolt Have you tried high dose B vitamins in combination with sugary foods? If all that stuff doesn't work it is most definitely not the thyroid.

RE: Most effective way to learn a new language?
Stay in the country where you want to learn the language of for 6 months. Language learning is entirely about learning the patterns of communication. You can't learn those if you aren't communicated with.

RE: How do you define richness from a bioenergetic point of view?
Richness is living in a plentiful environment. Plentiful in energy, plentiful in allies, plentiful in opportunities. This allows organisms to risk more and to live leisurely because even if they fail their environment will save them. They can exert much more energy without risk of death.
A poor environment means always having to overreact to threats because every threat can kills, being unable to build up reserves.
Competing for rich environments is the most foundational instinct of any biological being, always affecting every single cell in your body. Shrimps do it. Lizards do it. Birds do it. Humans do it.
Money itself is not part of being rich, but having money allows one to access such environments so it is sometimes a good proxy. (If you are brave enough to leave behind the hostile environment in which you earned it, which most wage-slaves aren't.)

RE: Brain sex differences: the androgynous brain is advantageous for mental health and well-being
@Norwegian-Mugabe Women aren't doing this because they enjoy it. Women are stressed because they can't be free, they can't be themselves. Muscles, reflexes, intelligence all things that allow men to be free regardless of how fucked up their environment is. Women don't have these properties usually so they can't be free, can't be themselves in a broken society. They become what they need to become to survive. Which, currently, is either a miserable wage slave or miserable whore. Neither of these options are good.
The main thing that progressives did was stripping away the protections society was extending to women. Tearing apart the family union that protected women from having to leech off of random suitors or corporations.
Only if we succeed at rebuilding that protection for women are we able to see their true selves.

RE: Simplifying Bioenergetics for others
@BioEclectic I basically say butter, beef tallow and coconut oil are the healthiest fats but Olive oil is fine too. All other oils are very unhealthy. Don't need to talk about why Olive Oil is "fine" unless they are really interested in the deets.

RE: Travel log: Holistic weight loss
@questforhealth I think the high concentration of B vitamins and magnesium far outweighs the cost of the high MUFA ratio, especially if you eat lean cuts.
I just ate a single pork chop and I already feel so much better, it's a life saver right now.

@Norwegian-Mugabe Millenials, 500k. What the actual fuck.

RE: Travel log: Holistic weight loss
I ran into quite the problem, I didn't take my thiamine with me, not wanting to rely too much on supplements. My energy tanked pretty quickly, clearly Thiamine deficient. I checked out various pharmacies and turns out it is pretty difficult to get a proper Thiamine supplement in Italy, largest dose was 25mg which obviously won't work out.
Will probably have to eat a lot of pork to make up for the lack of supplements.
Also getting really fucking tired of Pisa, there is a shit ton of immigrants there whose only purpose in life seems to be to take advantage of tourists, turning the places they live at into total shitholes. Thankfully I will move to the next location soon.
Cranky af right now.
