@saturnuscv I think DHEA is nefarious if you're a young healthy male with good balanced hormones. Progesterone is a bit suppressive but I'm testing out it's topical local application for getting rid of acne scars, anti aging, and becoming more pretty.

@joe he didn't encourage me. I asked him the same question as on here and he gave me his opinion. He's right, interior getting wet creates a massive unknown in terms of damage. I don't know the extent of the wetness, just that it was wet and they had to dry it out. So probably very wet

Find it dulls my emotions in a good way, less emotionally chaotic. I think its the DHT increase. The cholinergic increase also good for study although I find it encourages verbalisation a bit too much for my liking (although some have the opposite effect like the archerype of cowboys who smoke a cigar and ride around plains apparently encouraging mind wandering?).

@urbrainonsugar Thank you so much for doing this! I wanted to Venmo you, if needed. I listen to this all the time. Sorry it took me so long to reply back to you. Thank you again!

Good info here. Disclaimer: I have not used the products they mention. There are many options available, not only those discussed in the article. https://drjessmd.com/full-moons-and-parasites-the-scientifically-spooky-explanation/

I know it sounds like nofap bro science from 15 year olds, but my voice gets deeper if I don't ejaculate too much. An interesting observation I have made is that my voice is deeper when I talk English in real life (which happens maybe twice a year) instead of my native language. I wonder why that is, don't really have an explanation.

@ora said in Red light vs infrared incandescent: If it’s day time you need blue light, Ray Peat on blue light: "Full spectrum does stimulate, for example the ultraviolet stimulates your production of vitamin D, but ultraviolet and blue light are both toxic, for example to the retina. Blue light is destructive to the retina and one of the main things that causes blue light and ultraviolet light to be toxic are the polyunsaturated fatty acids, because they react with high energy radiation."

@herayclitus As far as I know, no. I think he rarely said he spoke either, but he was pretty humble about it generally so we can only deduce from context. He said he felt way more fluent in Spanish when at high altitude. It's reasonable to assume his Spanish was quite good. Especially considering the opportunities available to him to speak it, the fact that the culture is very open to learners, and the general fact that it's not that hard to learn. With regards to Russian, I don't think he outright ever said he spoke it, and said when he spoke to a Soviet researcher they were sort of mixing languages - indicating he was definitely not fluent. It's reasonable to assume he could understand a decent part of it written down.

@Inzil I can often wake up depressed too - but even on short hours of sleep. I'd blame poor glycogen storage in the liver, and the corresponding elevated cortisol.
