Has anyone felt worse after eating seed oils?
Almost every Peaty thing I've tried like coffee, sugar, milk, aspirin, high carb, etc. has had noticably good effects. However, I can't really tell much of a difference from seed oils or saturated fat. Has anyone noticed obvious effects from the removal or insertion of seed oils or nuts/seeds?

RE: why fat ppl often have beards?
@the-MOUSE Is it possible that beards aren't a good sign? Asians, who have the highest IQ, don't have much beards.

Ray Peat's talks on language and cliches?
I've seen these quotes many times but now I'm struggling to find a place where he really talks about language and cliches. Can anyone guide me?

RE: Light Exposure- A Lesser Mentioned Aspect of Bioenergetics
@CO3 Lol. Your analysis is pretty spot on.
Sorry if my language wasn't as clear. I see light exposure constantly mentioned in Peat's articles (along with melatonin's negative assosciations), so my statement was meant to state that the amount it's talked about in Peat's articles is very disproportionate to what you see mentioned online. In fact, one of Peat's quotes on the main factors influencing human health includes "red light" along with thyroid and progesterone.

@questforhealth that sounds really good.

Light Exposure- A Lesser Mentioned Aspect of Bioenergetics
"Almost any kind of stress increases the formation of melatonin."- Ray Peat (Aging Eyes, Infant Eyes, and Excitable Tissues)
What are your experience with increasing/decreasing light exposure?

@wolfy Did you massively increase your fat or protein consumption compared to before?

Fornication, Fraud, Foolishness, Faggotry, and Fapping are anti-metabolic.
All violations of the natural and divine law are anti-metabolic.

RE: Brain sex differences: the androgynous brain is advantageous for mental health and well-being
@questforhealth Your digestion essentially cooks the food. If you look at what happens to meat in hydrochloride acid. It breaks it down for you by cooking, and the flavor compounds that form taste good.

@questforhealth said in Brain sex differences: the androgynous brain is advantageous for mental health and well-being:
Yes! I have been doing that actually.
But don't we ultimately want to eat what the CREATORS of the bible ate if we want to be fully functional humans? Not what they wanted the FOLLOWERS to eat????
they ate mostly bread, wine, milk, honey, fattened animals, and oil.
I notice a huge difference with raw grass fed mutton personally. If I have it with fruits whic hwe naturally eat raw it's just mind blowing the energy surges i feel through my body. It’s only the texture that is unappealing but if we think about it how do we know we haven't just simply been programmed to think that and thats it? The meat itself tastes really good.
Texture is an important part of your senses telling you what is better. Texture has to đo with digest ability. The texture of cooked meat tastes better cause it’s already half broken down and digested, and also purified.

RE: Brain sex differences: the androgynous brain is advantageous for mental health and well-being
@questforhealth I was on a diet like that for a while, used to eat like 3lb raw meat a day, and I completely came out of that paradigm. I’m not sure if the bacteria/parasite are really the issue, but really it is better to eat cooked, and your taste buds should show you that and not some YouTube philosophers.
It’s crazy cause I was in the same position as you. With my family, with university, with diet. I ended up abandoning that diet after a year (and I went all out like I said 2-3lb raw meat, 1-2 gallon milk, etc.). Understanding Catholic Christianity changed everything for me.
I think if you want to satisfy your itch for what nature is supposed to be like and what we ate from the beginning, read the Bible and read what foods are celebrated there. This is the true story of the natural world.

Cole Robinson (Snake Diet) Adopts Sugar Water Diet, Eats 150g of Sugar for Breakfast
Don’t know how many on here have followed him but this is pretty awesome. I think he’s gonna get a ton of people to lose weight on this. High sugar low fat is so much easier than the low carb psych ward.

RE: Brain sex differences: the androgynous brain is advantageous for mental health and well-being
@questforhealth Yea I have hope, mostly because I’m a Catholic Christian. I believe that all of the nations will be liberated and converted. There’s always going to be evil until the end of time, but things will gradually improve (that’s what’s happened so far).
Also, generally, as history has gone on since the year 1 AD, things have gotten better in a lot of aspects. Of course there’s bad periods and evil, and certain eras have particular horrible evils (ours is the culture of death with its abortion, contraception, divorce, birth control, and euthanasia).
You look at how much labor people had to do in the past, with slavery, with infectious disease. now you can get a gallon of milk for $3 365 days per year 24/7, and if there weren’t suffocating government regulations then the access to medicine would be mind blowing the stuff that’s developed (thyroid, antibiotics, etc.)
I can write more but this is just some stuff and my overall paradigm.
