goes crazy for retaining muscle and energy on a cut, you have to be willing to endure the hunger tho, cuz it gets real.
went from 195 to 185 morning weight in like 12 days on vacation because eating out was either poison or too expensive, with what seems like very minimal to no muscle loss -

progress isn't always linear so hang in there! ideally, you'd be taking supplements only upon the manifestation of certain symptoms, and eating a nutritionally dense diet, but trust your own senses and drop supplements strategically. how much energy have you focused on your digestion?

carrot salad timing?
when would be the most optimal time to take the carrot salad? I've read rp say to have it with breakfast but I'm not sure the weight of that recommendation, when do yall take it?
I'm inclined to think the last meal you should eat in the day is the carrot salad, during the overnight fast it would clear out endotoxin without anything else I'm eating getting in the way

@Pooooop my personal experience, drinking lactaid milk with regular milk, like a quart of each a day slowly introducing more regular milk and less lactaid milk, along with a carrot salad for breakfast, helped me, though it was pretty rough at first, same symptoms as you. there's probably a better way than white-knuckling thru. if you ever got a DNA ancestry test, you can download your genome from the company and upload it to genetic genie and they can tell you if you have a lactase persistence gene. I had the gene, but still experienced ance breakouts, diarrhea, etc for most my life until recently. Im sure kefir would help introduce positive bacteria aswell

@Pooooop muscles primarily metabolize fat at rest, and glycogen during activity, which is why ppl with more muscle mass generally feel better with slightly higher fat intake, i doubt it would effect ur ability to grow muscle. i would also recommend, if you're going to be needing protein constantly to build muscle, to switch to ruminant meats like beef. the cows rumen will saturate the pufa it eats and will protect you from pufa intake, even if its shitty grain fed.

@Pooooop yeah youve def got alot of rice, maybe up the milk and juice intake? dried fruit like raisins and dates are a good source of carbs if money is a factor. you can also add white sugar to your rice. I've been making a white button mushroom risotto recently and its really good. are you trying to lose fat? you have a pretty low fat diet right now which is prob beneficial if you're trying to lose weight but you might benefit from adding a little saturated fat to your rice, i feel pretty bad eating low fat but I've got a good amount of muscle mass, its different for everyone

my first thought it fluoride exposure in tap water causing the beneficial effects of restricting water, rp talked about getting migraines when he moved to Mexico and eventually deducing it to be fluoride. you should invest in a ro filter and update!

do you feel good eating it? do you digest it quickly and easily? does it meet micronutrient requirements? plug this into chronometer and see if ur getting all ur vits and minerals. chicken and broccoli may be harder to digest, if ur not pooping 2x daily you prob need to make adjustments. try swapping in well cooked mushrooms if digestion is an issue. an obvious addition would be some sort of shellfish and liver, weekly. for base cal intake a good metric to shoot for at first is 40 cal per kg

Weed addiction, reaching homeostasis
I've been smoking zaza for like 5 years (since i was a teenager) and recently I've accepted the negative impacts it has on my hormones(prolactin and estrogen)and it's made me consider dropping the stuff. I think it also just makes me less productive and more likely to sit and do nothing, not very peaty.
given that the bioenergetic view of addiction is that it's your body attempting to reach homeostasis, what sort of things could i do to reduce my desire to smoke? ultimately if i want to I'm going to, so I'm trying to eliminate the want. this isn't a matter of willpower, i want to escape rat hell and go to rat park. maybe i just need a girlfriend or something lol.
I eat really well and take thyroid, maybe a heroic dose of some b vit would help? idk shoot some theories if you got em
