@CO3 What material is the grounding sheet made of? Hopefully not polyester.

RE: Milk vs Eggshell powder
@Pooooop very easy: boil eggshells for a few minutes, remove the water and put them in the microwave or oven to dry them out. Then grind them into dust.
If you make boiled eggs you can probably skip the first step

RE: Apple Cider Vinegar for Digestion
Here are my ideas:
- Chew your food into atoms.
- Avoid drinks while you have your meal.
- Meat cooked in stews is easier to digest.
- Try separating different kinds of foods. For instance, try eating meat and fruit separately.
- Don’t fill your stomach so much, eat more often instead.

RE: Consensus on a good Vitamin C source?
I’m starting to take acerola powder along with collagen to boost collagen synthesis. Acerola powder is extremely rich in vitamin c, half a gram gives you the whole daily value.
That being said, I don’t know if it comes with any tradeoffs

Shitcoins
I suppose many of you are familiar with crypto.
How am I supposed to take that the president of the United States of America and his wife, the First Lady, have released and are promoting “official memecoins” named after themselves on the Solana blockchain?
The solana ecosystem is primarily used to trade meme tokens. The vast majority of them a pump and dump schemes, while the rest are based in building “communities”, where the strategy is to promote the community to new investors in order to use them as exit liquidity.
But seeing the official Trump and Melania accounts literally shilling their own shitcoins, complete with contract addresses, feels surreal. This kind of behavior is what you’d expect from random accounts hyping up tokens with names like Retardio or Niggabutt, not from the President and First Lady.
This feels like an absurd simulation. Why would they do this?

Anybody knows a good source for nicotine? I’ve been wanting to try nicotine micro-dosing to increase my focus.

RE: I just ate some plastic, should I make myself vomit or not worry about it.
@LucH I don't have absorbic acid at hand... Any other options? I took several pills of magnesium citrate and drank coffee. Hopefully that'll help...

RE: I just ate some plastic, should I make myself vomit or not worry about it.
I know I'm a retard but food companies really should add a visual warnings when their foods are wrapped in plastic.
It's the same thing with cheese, sometimes the rinds are edible and sometimes they're not, this confuses people and I've seen people eat them when they're not edible. Even in bars and restaurants they'll serve you a plate of cheese slices with their rind and not warn you that they're not edible. Sometimes they make the rind look and taste similar to the cheese by adding things to it.

I just ate some plastic, should I make myself vomit or not worry about it.
Earlier, I was eating some spanish chorizo (which usually comes wrapped in natural tripe), however this time it was wrapped in something not edible, probably plastic.
Since I'm a glutton and I chewed through it rather quickly, I didn't realize that I had swallowed something not edible (probably plastic) until I had read the label.
I tried to make myself vomit by shoving my fingers down my throat as back as possible, but I couldn't manage to fully vomit, as with each gag I felt so uncomfortable that I started to get dizzy, sweat, and my stomach started to hurt... It also feels very gay and humiliating to do this.
So I drank 3 large glasses of water in hopes that the acidity levels in my stomach would reduce, to diminish the ingestion of micro plastics.
But I can't stop thinking about the fact that I have a good amount of plastic in my stomach right now, should I try again? What would you do?

How to buy the right red-light device
What are some of the specs that you gotta look for when buying a red light device?
The price range between the cheap and expensive options is wild. Can I just buy the cheap stuff or is it mostly useless?
As for specs:
Do you prefer LED or incandescent?
Do you target a specific light spectrum?
Do you target a specific power density (mW/cm²)?
Should the glass be red-coated or transparent?
Do you prefer lightbulbs, panels or those gadgets that apply direct contact to the skin? -
RE: Tracking down the mysterious cause of Dr. Paul Saladino's shockingly rapid aging
I don't think he looks much worse. Also, one video is taken with a crappy laptop webcam or a smartphone camera which masks and softens facial features while the other video is taken with a high quality camera.

RE: How to get rid off the mold?
I don’t know much about mold, but I would say:
keep your bathroom as dry as possible, 30-50% humidity level. Avoid hot showers to avoid steaming up the room, but regardless, you could remove the moisture from the walls after the steam has settled. Get a mold resist shower curtain, because mold can also grow on shower curtains. Regularly paint the ceiling with anti mold paint, if you have tiles on the walls, seal the grout lines every 6 months. Use a hepa air purifier. If you don’t have an exhaust, keep the door open after showers. Shower in the gym or somewhere else if possible. -
RE: Canker Sores
@Ecstatic_Hamster That’s a good point. I forgot to say that you should only keep the alum directly on the canker sore for about 30 seconds. I’m not sure how much aluminum might be absorbed in that short time.

RE: Canker Sores
Canker sores are so annoying. I used to get multiple every week. It's been months since I got one, so I'll share my knowledge with you.
Canker sores can have multiple causes: Low immunity, bacteria, viruses, lesions and irritation.
First of all, make sure you follow a proper oral hygiene routine to prevent bacteria from proliferating and creating canker sores.
My oral routine before bed is:
- Floss teeth
- Scrape tongue
- Brush teeth
- Brush tongue
- Scrape tongue again
- Mouth rinse
If you use commercial toothpaste, make sure to avoid those with Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS); and if you use commercial mouthwash, avoid those with alcohol and peg-40. These will irritate the tissues in your mouth and give you canker sores.
Mouth breathing can dry out the oral tissues, which reduces saliva production. Saliva helps protect the mouth from bacteria and irritation. Do mewing and sleep with mouth tape to fix this.
Acidic foods can also irritate your mouth, but I don't think ditching acidic foods is the answer. Just rinse your mouth with water after eating lots of acidic foods. As long as the acid doesn't remain in your mouth, you should be fine. If you are overly sensitive to acidic foods, you probably have an immunity problem.
Make sure you are not deficient in B vitamins, especially B12 and B9. Get lots of sunlight.
To heal canker sores:
- Rinse your mouth with a warm saline solution for 1 minute multiple times throughout the day.
- Apply alum powder directly on the canker sore. Let it sit for 30 seconds to one minute, then rinse your mouth with water and spit it out. Alum has astringent properties that will promote healing and will dry out the sore. Canker sores will feel numb for 3-4 hours, and the pain will be almost gone in one or two days.
- L-Lysine supplementation heals canker sores if they were caused by viral infections.
That's all as far as healing goes. Alum is a total game changer. Give it a try!

RE: Height and penis increase anecdote thread?
Penis size is associated to body-fat percentage during your childhood.
If you have a small pp, chances are you were overweight as a child. -
RE: After diet, exercise and sleep, using a sauna may be of the best things for health
@cs3000 @GreekDemiGod Regarding testicular damage, couldn't you just use an infrared sauna and shield your balls with aluminum foil?

What are your favorite niche/obscure exercises?
Exercises that I love and never see anybody do at the gym:
Here is my list:
-
Skin the cat
https://youtu.be/QHnpUcVwZOk?si=jAF97PWS2QzaX_8H
One of the best calisthenic exercises, amazing for shoulder mobility and strength. When holding the bottom position (aka German Hang), it will stretch your shoulders, chest, back and biceps; it feels incredibly relieving. -
Zercher Squats
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/i5jOlUpm64c
Try them if you are a tall person. I have never felt more comfortable doing weighted squats than with this variation. It biases the weight more to the front, which in my opinion is better because getting good at this exercise will carry over to more common strength movements, especially in martial arts. -
Zottman Curls
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/fMMv0LfzYMk
It's simply a bicep curl where you pronate your grip before the eccentric phase. For some reason, it feels much smoother and comfortable in my elbows to do it this way. Definitely try them if you have elbow pain. -
Neck exercises
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtKdTeMZx5E&t=388s
To be honest, it's the most overlooked muscle group, but training your neck has a very good ROI for what it takes. If you don't regularly train your neck, start doing it during the rest between your sets. Having a strong neck not only makes you look like a Chad, it could save your life in a fight or car accident. -
Handstands
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRmZu6UdPCk
You need to do handstands more often. You need to do handstands with different variations. You need to do more calisthenic movements if you aren't already. Calisthenics is peaty. -
RTO dips and pushups
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4PClV2vYvQ
If you have never tried this, this probably doesn't look that difficult to you. But trust me, it's one of the hardest push up and dip variations to exist. It puts a massive amount of tension in your biceps.
