@benrickert said in Swollen legs from sitting: Can they be two different things? Yes, but there is a tight interconnection. And if I were you, I'll get informed on how to balance a higher level with sodium. Don't believe what you're going to read about excess salt. Here is some useful info, on my forum. Understanding how sodium works – Importance of sodium in cellular exchanges https://mirzoune-ciboulette.forumactif.org/t1362-comprendre-le-fonctionnement-du-sodium?highlight=sodium (In French; translator needed) Extract: “Salt can help lower inflammation, increase womb healing, metabolize better and therefore fuel well, help you sleep, improve muscle function, and have a positive effect on your blood pressure. » Kate DEERING. Sodium and Potassium Balance – Compensation by the body (In French) https://mirzoune-ciboulette.forumactif.org/t1068-equilibre-sodium-et-potassium-compensation-par-lorganisme?highlight=sodium Key ideas • The pH of the cellular environment is decisive for proper enzymatic functioning. The body will therefore regulate this pH carefully. If it is overwhelmed, a host of pathologies could make their bed, sometimes in a delayed manner... • The body will seek to compensate with different buffer systems. • To correct the terrain, potassium is the key nutrient. But every time you ingest excess salt, by considering your potassium reserves, you will disrupt this balance. • The metabolism will correct the situation with an H+ ion to maintain the correct gradient: An H+ ion will replace a K+ ion. In doing so, the pH is modified and moves towards acidosis. • The movements of water across cell membranes follow the movements of sodium, which themselves are only possible if a sodium ion is exchanged for a potassium ion (K+) or a hydrogen ion (H+) for reasons of electro-neutrality. Thus, the distribution of water in the body is a function of these ion exchanges. Salt – Against the grain! What to do in case of water retention? (In French) https://mirzoune-ciboulette.forumactif.org/t599-sel-a-contre-courant-que-faire-en-cas-de-retention-deau?highlight=sodium Quote: “One of the things that happen when there isn’t enough sodium in the diet is that more aldosterone is synthesized. Aldosterone causes less sodium to be lost in the urine and sweat, but it achieves that at the expense of the increased loss of potassium, magnesium, and probably calcium. The loss of potassium leads to vasoconstriction, which contributes to heart and kidney failure and high blood pressure. The loss of magnesium contributes to vasoconstriction, inflammation, and bone loss. Magnesium deficiency is extremely common, but a little extra salt in the diet makes it easier to retain the magnesium in our foods." By Ray Peat, PhD. try massaging, foam rolling, stretching, moving around different parts of your body to see if you can find a knotted tight spot that may be referring pain. just pay yourself for the type of imaging you think you should get anyways. you can probably find somewhere to pay for an ultrasound too. maybe there's some pregnancy clinic or something you can pay cash at

@stimulantayran How are your labs? It may not be a guarantee, but high DHEA correlates to high estrogens, thought I can't say for sure with DHEA-S

@Insomniac ha well my doctor lowered my dosage, I think superhuman wasn't the right word to use with them lol. I definitely don't feel superhuman now. What do you mean the psychological impact of TRT? Can you speak more about that? Here's my results so not sure if 61.2 is dangerously high or what [image: 1730345852975-b1ef7030-34cb-4b8c-94d3-630bc378f1f1-image.png]

@northeastar7 I know of tons of people who got pelvic floor issues after covid this is like my fourth or fifth time on this forum saying something is caused by covid and I think people might think im obsessed but im really not. but it's noteworthy to see all these similar issues start for many people around the same time. anyways. I would recommend figuring out if you can safely take methylene blue in decent doses. you say you get a UTI every year, MB is good for that and maybe will help you probably can do exercises too for your pelvic floor issues

I had a small patch of psoriasis on the front of my scalp and it went away within a few weeks of getting my vitamin D up to around 60ng/mL and never came back, except for one time where I was very stressed and sick, and my vitamin D also happened to be low - even then I could just see that it was about to be little inflamed, no skin flaking like it used to. Went away in a day again, so that was just an extreme low point. To this day it's the part of my scalp most affected by hairloss and the hardest to rehabilitate, interestingly. I think it's related to the poor blood flow; that spot is probably the worst and when I have a stiff neck there is a nerve that has a bit of pain that leads straight to that spot. The poor blood flow and stress signals from the pinched nerve likely compounded the inflammation. It's been gone for about almost 5 years now.

@Androbolic, do you know what your temp and pulse rate average first thing in the morning and 20–30 minutes after you eat? Having rid yourself of serious depression and anxiety, it sounds like you improved your thyroid function, but given your lack of joy and poor energy levels, assuming your life overall is good and your food/caloric intake is adequate for your body’s needs, your thyroid may still need some improving.

Have taken all, tbol and dbol are fine if you don’t mind a little bloat. They definitely work in the gym as your strength will go up a noticeable amount. Need tums on hand for them bc the acid reflux is real after a few days of it. Var is safer but you need higher doses if you’re a man so it’s better to order it in bulk from PPL rather than spend hundreds on capsules. I just started anadrol up again the other day after losing a bunch of muscle from travel and getting sick and I’ve bounced back pretty easily. Just can’t have any bit of alcohol when you’re eating any AAS or else your BP will skyrocket and your bowel movements will hurt.

What many people don't know is why inhale far more micro plastics than we ingest. The size of a credit card every week. Frequently airing a room is important to let less poluted new air come in.
