How you discovered Peat?
How did you guys discover Ray Peat.
For me it was attempting to reverse my many health issues including hypothyroidism that were caused by a long term restrictive plant-based diet. -
RE: Carb suggestions?

RE: Carb suggestions?
@edouard She shared it with me before
I believe 1 cup of raw milk, 1 medium sized frozen banana and 1 cup of another frozen fruit. I tried it in my Ninja Creami and it turned out really good. Frozen Strawberries and Frozen Jackfruit are good additions. -
RE: Carb suggestions?
@yerrag Chico and Mamey are two different fruits, both considered sapotes. Chico is the small less starchy variant. Mamey is large and the texture of a sweet potato.

-
RE: Whole milk powder vs Skim milk powder
@Milk-Destroyer I used to use a fat-free goat milk powder from Mt. Capra. I didnt really like the taste but it had no fortification.
-
RE: Whole milk powder vs Skim milk powder
@Cezar4911 Personally I use A2 Whole Milk Powder. I find it to be the most easily digestible and best tasting. It makes thick doughs and great rich milk powder pancakes.

Orange Marmalade
Ray has spoken extensively on the benefits of marmalade and cooked orange peels for their high naringenin content. Here is how I make a delicious therapeutic marmalade.
Ingredients:
4 Oranges
1 Lemon
2 Cups Sugar
6 Cups WaterSqueeze the juice of your oranges and lemon. Boil the whole fruits with their peel for 10 minutes to soften the pulp and skin. Then, scrape out the pulp and discard. Thinly slice the peel in long strips. Than fill a large pot with the water, sugar, juice, and peels. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 Hours. Let it sit the fridge to solidify.
