@Mauritio - Thanks for the link. I started taking AKG in 2020 after I read that it restores hair color in some people. It did not work for me but it is still on my short list of supplements.

@alfredoolivas and @hwisdom Why you should give a try with WWB. We’re not talking about a crisis drug stuff. Since ASA (acid acetyl-salicylic) has an impact on platelet aggregation (for sure) and a possible by-side effect on mucin (epithelial protection of the linen intestinal walls) (aggressive and disruptive), we should learn how to manage to minimize the contraindications’ from these molecules. I’ll give the direction where we should look at, not in details now. There is an impact of ASA on platelets, and thus blood fluidity. Possible interaction with liposoluble vitamins? Useful links on ASA & WWB *) Impact of HD aspirin on platelet aggregation curve https://mirzoune-ciboulette.forumactif.org/t2143-english-corner-impact-of-hd-aspirin-on-platelet-aggregation-curve?highlight=platelet *) English corner: Aspirin cuts the spark; vitamin K keeps the current steady. https://mirzoune-ciboulette.forumactif.org/t2144-english-corner-aspirin-cuts-the-spark-vitamin-k-keeps-the-current-steady#30424 Prevention for SARS-cov-2. Vitamin K does not trigger clotting, it only ensures that the clotting and anti-clotting systems work effectively. Vitamin K is an essential cofactor for the activation of several proteins. How MK-4 aids in redox recovery Does aspirin counteract GLA protein or osteocalcin? HD Aspirin take permanently inhibits existing platelets; recovery depends on new platelet formation (≈ 10 days). Whatever the dosage is (81, 325 or > 500-1000 mg ASA). Vit K enhances balance: Vit K is an essential cofactor for the activation of several proteins. *) Aspirin & Salicin from White Willow Bark – A Natural Path to Mitochondrial Vitality? https://mirzoune-ciboulette.forumactif.org/t2128-english-corner-aspirin-salicin-from-white-willow-bark-a-natural-path-to-mitochondrial-vitality NB: I'll begin with this new post: Salicin and WWB Talk with Gemini 3 https://mirzoune-ciboulette.forumactif.org/t2163-salicin-from-wwb-vs-aspirin#30570 Context Once salicin from WWB is converted (via hydrolysis and oxidation) into salicylic acid, it can interact with cellular energy systems in a few notable ways; often on a more mildly way. Uncoupling of Oxidative Phosphorylation (Mild effect and Adaptive). Inhibition of Mitochondrial Stress Signaling (NF-κB, TNF-α). Protection against Lipid Peroxidation. Stimulation of Pyruvate Utilization (no direct data, mildly apply) DOI:10.1136/jcp.54.7.553 Downregulation of iNOS and NO Overload (it supports mitochondrial longevity and cleaner respiration). Excerpt Salicin is hydrolyzed into saligenin (salicyl alcohol) and d-glucose in the intestines, primarily by gut bacteria (or enzymes). Saligenin is then absorbed into the blood and transported to the liver, where it is oxidized to form salicylic acid, the active compound with anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. https://www.stanfordchem.com/salicin-vs-salicylic-acid-relationship-difference-uses.html

@engineer said in Fat. How low can you go per day?: @GreekDemiGod How big are you? Because that seems like a lot to anyone who's not the Hulk. I'm 75kg/165lbs so I'd have to go much lower, maybe 30g or less to feel low fat. I am not much heavier than you. 79 kg, or around 175 lbs. And I maintain my weight on 2900-3000 calories, but my fat intake is also quite high 85-90g daily currently.

@shivaflow May seem cliche but try around and find foods that are digestible to you right now. After that, slowly start incorporating peaty habits/substances like Baking Soda, Bag Breathing, Gelatin, Calcium: Phosphorus etc. Focus on one/few at a time.

I use beef gelatin cause it's cheaper and easier to source from decent places. I put about 20g gelatin in 350g choccy milk in the evening and 20g in 500g of coffee in the morning. Usually just saturate it first 20g gelatin - 60-80g of water then dump it in whatever hot liquid I feel like. Started added it to dishes recently, same thing, just saturate a bunch and drop it in. Usually dishes that can be made with more gelatinous meats traditionally. Lasagna etc etc.

Mr. Barrett looks like a misformed estrogenic freak. We also do discriminate, as there is a hierarchy in sexual desire. Peat rightly said that with ideal male health, you are becoming more attracted to feminine forms. Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!

@mostlylurking refined coconut oil works a treat for deep frying. i’ve made really nice chicken tenders and fries with it. regular coconut oil seems ok for oven fries, but refined is probably better for higher temps.

@voldtzeig said in Carrot salad as replacement for Brushing your teeth: @CurmudgeonApple Would you need fluoride for hydroxyapatite to remineralize aswell or would hydroxyapatatite toothpaste work without the fluoride? It would depend on the state of your enamel. apatites are just a building block of a tooth, so if your enamel is considerably demineralised, the hydroxyapatite of calcium or other mineral has nothing to bind to and in that situation, the only thing that will reverse it is a fluoride treatment, toothpaste, etc, and if it's severe to the point of almost dentin exposure, then your only recourse is probably stannous fluoride, which might even save it, and after a few months of that you can switch to hydroxyapatite or something less drastic. If you don't have any demineralisation then you don't technically need fluoride at all as the minerals from your dietary choices will deposit into saliva and bind to tooth enamel no problem

@CheesedToPeatYou Yes. They use chlorine and other nasty things at dilute concentration to clean carrots. Sometimes, not always. I wouldn’t recommend you repeat the experiment unless you truly have a dedication to anecdotal science, but perhaps next time you are forced to buy carrots out discard the skins first.

Also Ether, God & Devil & Cosmic Superimposition and The bion experiments. There is a publisher reprinting most of his works in affordable paperbacks, that's where I would start.

@Hando-Jin said in Does tanning age you even in an absence of seed oils?: @sphenoid said in Does tanning age you even in an absence of seed oils?: @Hando-Jin the process of UV light turning the cholesterol in the skin into the precursor to vitamin D. Too much UV and not enough cholesterol synthesis in the skin will eventually deplete it. Why not enough cholesterol synthesis is what I'm trying to understand. Has anybody answered that? I heard Ray say it was just down to age. Age, stress, nutritional deficiencies. Most people are probably inefficient at replacing cholesterol in the skin. That's why topical lanolin is a blessing for not only supplying a substrate for vitamin D but to keep the skin youthful.
