No need we know. The 'zero spike project' and the 'world council for health' get a shipping container of NAC from chyna and dance around it to the beat of a bongo.

@Quinone I'm not sure. I was about to start a thread on inflammation and bloating. I've been feeling bloated in the morning but after I eat something for lunch I feel much better. I'm suspecting bloating and inflammation are related and linked with stress hormones. But it surprises me I should feel bloated without eating much.

@winters2 said in vitamin E complex?: Didn’t Ray have a negative attitude towards tocotrienols? Yes, but it's a question of dosage and frequency, for me. Still useful, but I won't take much of it, if not in cure, thus for a limited period. Ray said T3 has effects on animal liver (enlargement, probably toxic). T3 is however more fluid / mobile, so that it could easily reach its target (inside membrane vessel, for protection; personal deduction). But I conceive T3 in a rather low fraction, in association with alpha and gamma T1. However there are very few studies analyzing a combo of T1 and T3. And not just under12 weeks as it won't probably prove anything (...) I cite, from "Vitamin E: Estrogen antagonist, energy promoter, and anti-inflammatory" Besides antagonizing some of the end effects of the toxic fatty acids, vitamin E inhibits lipolysis, lowering the concentration of free fatty acids (the opposite of estrogen’s effect), and it also binds to, and inactivates, free fatty acids. The long saturated carbon chain is very important for its full functioning, and this saturated chain might allow it to serve as a substitute for the omega -9 fats, from which the Mead acid is formed. The unsaturated tocotrienols have hardly been tested for the spectrum of true vitamin E activity, and animal studies have suggested that it may be toxic, since it caused liver enlargement. One possibly crucial protective effect of vitamin E against the polyunsaturated fatty acids that hasn't been explored is the direct destruction of linolenic and linoleic acid. It is known that bacterial vitamin E is involved in the saturation of unsaturated fatty acids, and it is also known that intestinal bacteria turn linoleic and linolenic acids into the fully saturated stearic acid.

@winters2 it regulates copper and zinc and makes a “deficiency” in either less consequential

Noticeable info to help damping unbalance microbiome Iodine exerts antioxidative, antimicrobial, immunomodulatory, and molecular regulatory effects. Iodine alters the proportion of pathogenic and beneficial bacteria to restore the gut microbiome and reduce insulin resistance, obesity, and metabolic syndrome parameters. Iodine also reduces inflammation by lowering oxidative and endoplasmic reticulum stress caused by free radicals such as reactive oxygen species (ROS). The mineral acts on type 2 deiodinase (D2) receptors that convert T4 to biologically active T3 to improve weight management and adaptive thermogenesis. (1) Iodine also interacts with peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPARγ) receptors to enhance adipocyte differentiation, fatty acid uptake, and glucose metabolism … Source: The correlation between iodine and metabolism: a review. 2024 | https://doi.org/10.3389/fnut.2024.1346452 Reference 1: Thyroid hormone signaling: The type II (D2) deiodinase catalyzes T4-to-T3 conversion Role of the type 2 iodothyronine deiodinase (D2) in the control of thyroid hormone signaling 10.1016/j.bbagen.2012.08.019 Comment (LucH): Mind the way you use iodine supplement. Slow progression (staples) to avoid Wolff-Chaikoff effect. Info on why and how to manage with iodine (we need 2 kinds: Molecular iodine (I₂) and iodide potassium (IK). https://bioenergetic.forum/topic/3962/iodine-as-a-game-changer/6 Excerpt: *) Which kind iodine is used and where? The thyroid and skin use almost only KI type iodides, or potassium iodide, the form of supplementation found for example in iodized table salt. But the breast, prostate, ovary and brain need molecular iodine type I2. The kidney, spleen, liver, blood, salivary glands, intestines and muscles necessarily all have a joint contribution in both forms (56). The fight against cancer, probably also (57). And all these organs are abandoned to their sad deiodized fate... Woman breast needs more than what is allowed through food, even when eating fish twice a week and drinking half a liter milk. And by the way – for men aged > 65, prostate requires I2 too. Breast and prostate need I2. But the average iodine intake will not be high enough to reach another organ than the thyroid…

update: feeling much better now. I did a lab 3 days ago and my WBC’s were normal, but i read that in 30% of cases of very early appendicitis WBC can remain normal. i didnt have any rebound tenderness or respond to rosvings sign, but i did feel a 3/10 sharp pain when i did the heel drop test and it was tender to the touch. i had 20 amoxicillin 500mg laying around so ive been taking one every 8 hours for the past 3 days. I went on a liquid diet fast with nothing but carbs for the first 2 days. lemon+honey juice, lots of coconut water and some coke. reintroducted fats+protein yesterday by drinking 2 quarts of goat milk had a good bowel movement this morning after some coffee and the pain is 95% gone. Weird, i coulda swore i had appendicitis, my symptoms were: extremely tender stomach for a few days (particularly tender under the ribcage/xiphoid process), light fever & sweats, trouble keeping down any food (vomited once), and then one morning all the tenderness travelled to the appendix area which felt like a pinching sensation in the area when dropping my heels or running/jumping. i guess i had early appendicitis and the fasting and antibiotic cured it or maybe it was a pulled muscle. idk. will be doing another WBC test after my course of antibiotics is finished.

@DG Pretty sure you can start with small glasses regularly and increase it. I know others with this but I think it's age and decreased dairy consumption together leading people away from dairy and milk especially. I used to gag a bit when I had stopped drinking milk but ave gone back to quart - 1/2 gallon in a day sometimes.

@DakotaWorrell said in Can’t Seem to Lose Weight: Weight fluctuates within the same 2-3 pound range. Just when I think I’m making progress I go back up one or two pounds and it seems like I’ve plateaued. It’s also lent so I’ve given up beef and alcohol. Not eating beef is probably not helping here but there’s clearly something bigger wrong and I’m tired of not making any progress. Maybe I need to give it more time. I'm not sure. I believe somewhat that water retention accounts for a lot of extra weight, so it isn't always fat but water that is lost. Water retention is a concept in German new medicine and tcm, has to do with hanging on to pain/trauma, stress etc. I think this may be part of it. I think Lent is added stress and fasting can be metaphorical for different active efforts instead of passive/wasting/denial. Have you tried: coconut oil; carrots; potatoes; gelatin? Considered quitting supplements?
