@winters said in Glasses with Blue Light filter?: So I would be wearing these all the time. Is this good? The blue light coating on prescription glasses reduces but does not eliminate the amount of blue light that reaches the eye. You may be surprised that objects that are colored blue still appear to be blue while wearing your new glasses. However, a mild reduction is better than no reduction. Do Blue Light Glasses Work? @peatyRD idk about grown hair being "dead" there's case reports of people's hair turning grey/white after trauma and reversing after, not just new growth where the "dead" ends stay white. like literally their whole hair color changes.

@happyhanneke said in Antibiotics for parasites and H pylori: Any thoughts? I know nothing about this. Against H. pylori in regions with endemic resistancies instead of going for a fluoroquinolone-based antibiotic combo (as offered with the package above) afaik a bismuth quatruple therapy would be much safer. Dunno if available in Nicaragua. In Argentina it'd be called "Trylori", as seen here under "Equivalencias internacionales": https://www.vademecum.es/espana/equivalencias/39634/pylera-140-mg-125-mg-125-mg-capsulas The metronidazole it contains is no candy either and will leave an aftermath of damaged cells and mitochondria and works well against amoeba, though. Also, I don't see the prescribed antibiotic to have any effect against parasites. Amoeba maybe. Against parasites you'd need to know which. I recommend against albendazole if possible because that is super brutal. The much less absorbed mebendazole is the tolerable choice for action within the intestinal lumen, if the parasites in question are susceptible to that and do not require a differenct substance class altogether.

I have tried the Progest-E as well, but even this, did not raise my Progesterone level. Therefore, Progesterone in Vitamin E has a very short half life, just the opposite of what Peat said.

@Luke That's exactly how I feel except the negative effects are felt within 5 minutes. It's been over ten years since I've had daily, prolonged fluorescent light exposure so I no longer have any built up tolerance to it now. I doubt it's wifi as I've never noticed any difference with turning the router off at night or moving it as far away from my computer setup as possible. However, I only have a single router, I'm sure office complexes have many along with boosters. I agree, office work is soul crushing. Working from home is a big step up since you have more control over your environment even if the work lacks real meaning.

@sushi_is_cringe pineapple is one of my favorite go tos. I don't worry much about citric acid bc canned or fresh pineapple is peak fruit.

@MuleMan I just go by Peat’s word, not doing more than that within an hour. But I think NDT absorbs differently and might be ok to do bigger doses. I would just hate to overload the liver and have it dump what it perceives as excess t3. But I think you would be able to tell if this is happening or not

@Davida Then I find this by the man: I doubt that there is any biological significance in the idea of leptin resistance. Leptin promotes inflammation and cancer, so it might be good to be resistant to it, but I think the concept is mainly an outgrowth of the pharmaceutical industry's promotion of leptin as a cure for obesity. Some things to look at: Elevated white count -> Get an ultrasound to check for Pericarditis and other hidden infections (gum disease, wisdom tooth sockets or other cavitations - get a cavistat scan). Check appendix, etc). Drop any extra supplements and aspirin, you may be over thinning your blood. Other advice here is good, stop messing with thyroid meds unless a need is biochemically confirmed. Start meditating and learn how to relax your breathing into your belly.

@BigBeansMcGee Potato piure with milk and butter. Milk decreases the salt flavor so you can put a ton. The more milk, the less salty it is.

@milkgains_bro my glasses are like -4.25 yet my vision becomes perfect in Summer out at the forest and lakes. Like I can literally see birds and details on trees really far away. I imagine when I go skiing and stuff even in Winter it will be fine, I just haven't gone out to the mountains in Winter since I stopped wearing contact lenses. only when indoors doing a lot of reading that I feel the need for glasses (not that im particularly just near or far sighted, it's equal in both) and the more I wear them the more I need them. I think vision for the most part is correctable. I would try getting slightly progressively weaker lenses to train your eyes to get stronger and maybe shine some red light in your eyes. maybe retinol-maxxing too maybe those contact lenses you wear at night that mold your eye shape temporarily are good some how , despite the lowered oxygen part. id look into those before laser eye surgery
